[NOT A BUG] PayPal Subscription: Double Transaction on same paid invoice

Recommended Posts

What's the problem with this? Your customer must have created 2 subscriptions so WHMCS has tracked them both, and automatically credited the user. Nothing wrong there :)

Matt

Problem: WHMCS charge him more then one time for a one month subscription.

- How can I prevent this so client don't make 2 subscription for a one month terms..?

Thanks,

Kunnu.

No, WHMCS did not charge him anything. PayPal handles subscriptions, and they send them to you based on what the customer tells them to do (by signing up for a subscription). So if the user chooses of their own accord to signup for 2, then there's nothing you can particularly do to stop that.

But WHMCS has the built in credits system for handling overpayments automatically, so it's no real problem anyway.

However, have a look at our docs for the recommended customisation to invoice email templates to help remind customers they don't need to pay manually when a subscription exists: http://docs.whmcs.com/PayPal#Customising_Invoice_Emails_for_Subscriptions
