sounds
I was looking over the docs mainly the setup vid for creating a new package in cPanel/whm I noticed that he gives the package some web space 50mb, maybe for intro file uploads. Then he adds 5gig of bandwidth for that package in whm setup. What if you don't want to give new customers access to the cpanel, And instead wanted them to go directly to the whmsonic shoutcast panel, which i would usually do. Would you stil have to give web space and bandwidth when creating the package in cpanel/whm? The reason i ask is becasue i'm use to creating whmsonic shoutcast accounts manually. When creating an external shoutcast account, there is an option to enter how much web space and bandwidth in the whmsonic setup page. this is where i would give 10 or 50mb web space so the new shoutcast customer would be able to upload mp3s for their intro files, via ftp, not the cpanel. Also i would be able to enter how much bandwidth within the whmsonic setup panel, Which would usually be unmetered for all shoutcast accounts. So should you give unmetered bandwidth when creating the cpanel/whm package? Does that have the same effect as giving unmetered bandwidth within the whmsonic panel? But i only see in the video he enters the bandwidth in cpanel/whm. Hope someone understands what the hell i'm on about. There's an option in cpanel/whm for the cPanel theme, i could select sonic instead of the cpanel enterance. 0 sounds
Note to self, If you want new shoutcast customer to go directly into the WHMSonic panel instead of cPanel after signing up. You would select cPanel type: "Sonic" in the WHM panel when creating a New Package. You would create the cPanel/WHM/New Package with no features, as the WHMCS panel will show all the configurable options that are usually available inside an External Shoutcast account when setting it up. Thanks. Edited September 26, 2011 by sounds

I was looking over the docs mainly the setup vid for creating a new package in cPanel/whm
I noticed that he gives the package some web space 50mb, maybe for intro file uploads.
Then he adds 5gig of bandwidth for that package in whm setup.
What if you don't want to give new customers access to the cpanel,
And instead wanted them to go directly to the whmsonic shoutcast panel, which i would usually do.
Would you stil have to give web space and bandwidth when creating the package in cpanel/whm?
The reason i ask is becasue i'm use to creating whmsonic shoutcast accounts manually.
When creating an external shoutcast account, there is an option to enter how much web space
and bandwidth in the whmsonic setup page. this is where i would give 10 or 50mb web space so
the new shoutcast customer would be able to upload mp3s for their intro files, via ftp, not the cpanel.
Also i would be able to enter how much bandwidth within the whmsonic setup panel,
Which would usually be unmetered for all shoutcast accounts.
