PHP code for domain WHOIS checker

You would not be able to do that with just a template. You would need to have a php file and a template file.

For internal API call you would use PHP code like this:

# Set Vars
$command = 'domainwhois';
$values = array('domain' => 'domian to lookup');
$adminuser = 'admin with api rights';

# Call API
$results = localAPI($command, $values, $adminuser);
if ($results['result'] != "success")
{
echo "An Error Occurred: " . $results['result'];
}
else
{
$status = $results['status'];
$whois = $results['whois'];
}
