No Auckland, Canterbury, Otago etc From Wikipedia "Akaroa is a village on Banks Peninsula in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand'." "Ashburton (Māori: Hakatere) is a town and district in the Canterbury Region on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand."
