mscholten Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 Hello, I'm thinking about creating a custom module for DNS management. The idea is to offer it as service with domain registrations. The effect would be that users should be able to change DNS records from within WHMCS using an API to our own control panel (or some auto account creation for every domain with a link if they use our name servers). The clients using this service shouldn't be able to change the name servers for the domain name without canceling this service. The idea is to offer DNS control to our users without them to login in another system to change records and to keep everything working together. We don't want to use the option to use some registrar name server as we have our own name server infrastructure that we control.
