wired.pl
We are developing new registrar module based on EPP protocol. Registrar offers many new features for ex. "futures" What is future? Future guarantees possibility of registration of existing domain name whenever a domain lifecycle is ended (i.e. domain is to be removed). In such a situation domain is automatically reserved for future sponsoring client and registrant. Unfortunatelly WHMCS does not have implemented that function. We wonder how this could be done...what are yours suggestions?
othellotech
you mean a waitlist/watchlist or a drop-catch - they're quite different things ...
wired.pl
I mean "future". This is how it works, let's say you buy a future for bank.pl. The owner of the domain forgets renew it, then NASK Registrar blocks it for you and you can decide if you want it or not. Drop-catch websites are not able to register the domain. "Future" is valid for 3 years. It also can be renewed.
