fyreflyX
After Upgrading to v. 4.5.2, the email settings seem to be not picking up the "do not send over due emails" and sending emails anyway. Since I also use WHMCS for development and an invoice could have multiple payments), I selected : "Don't Send Overdue Emails" This wouldn't be an issue, but when a 5K invoice has 50% paid off, but the over due email doesn't take into an account that there are payments on the invoice - the client is advised to pay 5K in the email For these clients, I manually set them emails to by-pass this issue. But after the update, its ignoring the "Don't Send Overdue Emails" ... and a lot of panicking clients. Please advise how to fix
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 3, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 3, 2011 I'm unable to reproduce this here so don't think this is a bug. Check the setup of the client again and open a ticket if it continues. And if the email message is stating the total is due when it's part paid, you need to check your email templates are using the right merge fields. {$invoice_balance} should be used rather than {$invoice_total} if you want to show the amount remaining. fyreflyX
Invoice balance wasn't in the "Payment Reminder" - that fixed the issue of them seeing the full amount instead of balance. Thanks. But the system is sending the Payment Reminder if an account profile has "do not send over due notices" checked. I guess it's not really an overdue notice, but came as a surprise on the accounts that had this checked, whereas before no emails were sent unless I manually selected "send reminder"
fyreflyX
Reopening this Re: http://docs.whmcs.com/Client_Management#Disable_Notices Clients that have this checked are receiving Notice Emails
