Cpanel/WHM and WHMCS?

Okay Cpanel has me confused I'm using Virtualmin Pro, but not impressed with the features, it's fine for hosting my own personal sites, but for actual consumer sites I'm evaluating Cpanel and DirectAdmin.

Is Cpanel/WHM some sort of combination of Cpanel and WHMCS? Or are they two distinct products?

cPanel/WHM has nothing to do with WHMCS, but cPanel/WHM is the most commonly used control panel.

you will attract more customers using cPanel rather than Direct Admin.

Thanks. Cpanel shoudl drop the WHM, never really see it except on their websites.

so you are not a reseller then

WHM stands for Web Host Manager as is the control panel used by resellers using cPanel/WHM.

normal shared webistes using cpanle will have access to cpanel only, but if you have a reseller account then in the cpanel>advanced section you will have a icon link to WHM, so you can manage your resold accounts
