Or am I having another problem? Sounds like what you want to do is use a different whois server in which case you should edit the whois server listed in the whoisservers.php file. trine Posted June 1, 2007 Share Posted June 1, 2007 killerloop, that's because the whois provided by WHMCS doesn't use switches for each domain whois lookup. for Germany, to get all the info, including IDN domains, you need to use a switch: -T dn so your whois would look like: whois -h whois.denic.de -T dn dom.de instead of what WHMCS whois uses: whois -h whois.denic.de dom.de 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And as we bought whmcs (still in testing though) I want to use the integrated and great functions (whois-function for example) provided by whmcs. is there no possibilty laying hands on the whois-script?
