Confused about Configurable Options

Hi everyone,

I have a small webhosting business using WHMCS.

Ive decided to add extra options to customers orders such as "Base Package" + "ADDON 500 MB SPACE"

Ive setup the "500 MB SPACE" as a configurable option, but im confused as to how to get WHMCS to automatically add the 500mb into the provisioning with cPanel.

Is this possible? or something I need to do elsewhere?

Thanks.

Hi Alan, this is a very good question!

I have just purchased this addon for my account, only to realize that there is no way to do this? The only way is to do it on a dropdown basis... however you will need to create multiple dropdowns, FOR EACH OF YOUR PRODUCTS!!!

This is how I did it... Create a dropdown for emails...

If you give away 10 emails, then give the dropdown the following:

15|Additional 5 emails

then set pricing for 5 extra...

25| Additional 15 Emails

then set pricing for 15 extra... etc...

This is a long process if you have multiple products, since there is no "Copy" buttons for rhe configurable products!

Hope this might help... If anyone knows a better solution like "Base Package" + "ADDON 500 MB SPACE"... PLEASE dont hesitate to post it here!

It doesn't.

You should create a new package with the extra 500Mb, and set the upgrade/downgrade options on both eth products to allow the clients to switch between them
