Here's the latest email communication:

Hi,

Not sure what's going on here but we've contacted you numerous times now requesting info about the API and each time you've said, we're updating the API and will be releasing it within the next week. It's yet to happen, so what's going on? Our customers want this and at the moment the only thing holding it up is you!

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Hey, sorry for the delay. The thing was that we were rewriting lxadmin and hyperVM almost every week, and completely changing the design. So API writing became impossible. I will be releasing the API today, since that seems to be most critical part of Lxadmin/hyperVM.

Thanks.

Again another promise of a release - we'll see if it actually happens this time. Once I have the API, I'll be able to let you know what we can do.

I don't get it? It took them 3 months to make that forum post which is next to useless - doesn't say how to connect, how to authenticate, where to send the command to? I can't imagine what its like working with these guys but from what I'm seeing, it can't be good! I'll email them and try and find out where the proper documentation is - if any exists.

Doesn't look good indeed...

<lx_lxsales> yes

<Myself> can you tell me where I can get the full API documentation

<lx_lxsales> it is in the forum.

<Myself> That surley is not the full documentation

<Myself> http://forum.lxlabs.com/index.php?t=msg&th=1962&start=0&

<Myself> is that what you are talking about?

<lx_lxsales> yes

<Myself> how do you connect, where do you send the commands to?

<Myself> Do you have any documentation?

<lx_lxsales> you can check teh basics here

<lx_lxsales> lxlabs.com/software/hypervm/api

<Myself> thanks

<Myself> Sine the "new API", does all this still apply?

<lx_lxsales> yes.

<Myself> So everything is done from webcommand.php in the new api?

<Myself> https://vps.com:7777/bin/webcommand.php?action=add&class=vps&v-plan_name=vmplan2&v-password=hello&v-syncserver=localhost&v-ostemplate=centos-4-i386-afull&v-num_ipaddress_f=1&v-contactemail=contact.at.email.com&v-type=xen&name=vpsname.vm"

<Myself> is that a correct example?

<Myself> hello?

no response afterwards

Lx_admin is the one to talk to, but I expected more than sales for paying a premium for live support.
