crucial
Do we need to edit these for every location that they are showing? As there are lot of places that the parts of (links, etc) the support desk is showing.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted May 23, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted May 23, 2007 Hi, Yes, you will need to edit the locations they show in. For the support desk however, that should one be the header.tpl, homepage.tpl and clientareahomepage.tpl files. Regards, Matt

SHGreg
It would be great to have the option to enable/disable the WHMCS features
Adam
It would be great to have the option to enable/disable the WHMCS features Just take them out of the template, this really doesn't need to be in their. From, Adam
SHGreg
Just take them out of the template, this really doesn't need to be in their. It needs to be there for the people that do not want to use a certain feature and prefer not to receive support/sales emails from confused clients as to why there is an option for something that doesn't exist. I see no reason to NOT have it there. It's why we purchase software with graphical front ends, so we do not have to hack things ourself. It's much easier for people to have an option to check a box.
Gregg
Thanks PPH, I edited the code and its fine and dandy now However, I agree that there should be an, ON/OFF feature if you like. A prime example for this would be may 'problem'. Currently I don't need the Reseller/Dedicated/VPS displays appearing in the client's account, however in the near future I may need those showing, therefore an ON/OFF option would come in very very handy there.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted May 25, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted May 25, 2007 If it wasn't so heavily templated, this would of course be the case, but because it is, it's very hard to be able to on/off features and move other code accordingly to fill the gaps as it's not laid out with PHP code but just plain standard HTML in tpl files. Hope that makes sense! Matt
