WHMCS V3.2 Upcoming Release

Hi everyone!

It’s been 6 weeks since the last release and people are starting to get edgy! So while the next release is not ready, here’s some info about what’s going to be included. I think you’ll be pleased… and hopefully impressed!

Client Area Automated Upgrades System

From the client area, clients will now be able to upgrade/downgrade their package, upgrade/downgrade configurable options or just change their billing cycle. You will be able to select if the client can upgrade/downgrade on a per product basis specifying which products can be upgraded and downgraded to.

Multiple TLD Ordering Support

When checking the availability of a domain on the order form, clients will now be shown the results of other TLDs aswell (as specified by you) which they can then register at the same time. No limit to how many can be done.

Registration, Transfer & Renewal Domain Pricing

In addition to the multiple TLD ordering support, it will be possible to specify separate prices for each of the different domain registration options.

One Time Domain Coupons

Until now, only recurring domain coupons have been possible. Now one time domain discounts will also be an option.

Support Ticket Spam Control Features

New Spam Control features for the ticket system have been implemented including subject keyword filtering, message keyword filtering and email address banning.

Multiple Language Email Support & Enable/Disable Emails

The next release will also feature improved multi-language support with it being possible for you to create specific email templates for each language that your system uses. The clients selected language will then be stored and emails sent in their language of choice.

In addition, it will also be possible to enable/disable emails. This is in an effort to allow you to reduce the number of emails your clients get so you could for example disable the new client welcome email when an order is placed so they just get the order confirmation.

Grace Period for New Orders

It will be possible to set the due date for newly placed orders to be in the future so they don’t become overdue the next day and have overdue invoice reminders sent.

New Server Modules

There are new server modules for HELM, CastControl and possibly HyperVM should we be able to test this module before release.

New Registrar Modules

New registrar modules for ResellOne and DistributeIT will also be included.

New Gateway Modules

Google Checkout UK support will be included along with a WorldPay Invisible Module. A PayPal Pro module is in testing, but at the moment, will not be included in this next release.

(UPDATE 24/05/07: PayPal PayFlow Pro Module has been tested and will be included)

We will also be rolling out our affiliate system over the next couple of weeks which will allow you to refer your resellers or dedicated server customers to us and earn 15% commission for the sales you make.

That’s it for now and is the next step in making WHMCS the number one web host billing system!

Matt
