Instant Bot Reply?

Hello,

 

Before all the trolls start: I hate bot replies and don't support them.

 

I'd like to have a bot update the tickets in "Sales" and "Billing" telling them that their ticket will be handled during office hours. I've not yet found a way to do this.

 

Can somebody tell me or show me how to?

Create an actionhook for "TicketOpen" and "TicketUserReply" and check if the time is out of hours just send an email reply to them stating that the ticket will be replied to during office hours.

That way the auto reply won't get added to the ticket itself.
