optize
[Confirmed with WHMCS Support] For example, if a customer signs up for a domain at $9.95, you decide later on in the year you are changing your domain prices to $14.95. Even though their initial and recurring price for that domain (in their account) is still set for $9.95, if they try to renew it manually (not wait until the x days before it's due for the invoice) it will renew at the new price ($14.95) This seemed flawed to me -- Am I the only one who thinks so?
m8internet
I don't have any problems with this, manual renewal is disabled and the revised price applies when required on renewal If a customer wants to renew in advance then I prepare a quote, invoice, and then update their account accordingly
optize
How are you disabling the manual renew of domain names?
m8internet
I have edited the clientarea.php file, removing the "Renew Domain" button Customers then receive the Invoice and make payment from there when renewal is due They can also change the payment method if required
