ozzie
Hi, I just noticed that the Direct Admin Email produces the following HTML code to connect to the DA panel :2222/"]http://www.realdomain.com.au:2222/ This will of course try to connect to "http://www.[domain]:2222/" The 404 message that follows is not a good start with a new client Cheers from downunder, Ozzie
eger
Can you elaborate a little more on this? I am using DirectAdmin with the default email templates and the URL is fine for me. In both IE and Firefox "http://www.domain.com:2222/" works.

In both IE and Firefox "http://www.domain.com:2222/" works. It works where the clients ordered domain is *already* on the server, not if they're only getting email hosting and teh www A record in DNS points elsewhere - http:://IP:2222/ woudl be the preferred method as that wil work irrespective of DNS resolution
