Syzzle
I have a ticket open on this, but am hoping I might get some help while waiting for a reply. I am trying to setup WHMCS on Windows Server 2008 R2, 64bit server. I had successfully done so before on this server as a test, although I could not get it to work with WebsitePanel. After several issues and testing a variety of configurations, I re-formatted this server and am now trying to install. Unfortunately I now get a blank page when calling the installation php page. I have confirmed that PHP, Curl, and Ioncube are installed and working. But I just get blank page - no errors. I have uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. I have tried to eliminate folder security as an issue by giving everyone full access, but that has no effect. Pending a response from WHMCS support I'm at a complete loss. All docs indicate a permissions issue, but there is virtually no documentation for Windows installations. Since I've given the entire folder full write permissions (and tried a number of other combinations of permissions) and am still getting blank pages, I don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions are appreciated.
paperweight
How did you fix this? I have the same problem.
Syzzle
I believe it was related to the configuration file. There was a problem with the custom path to the Admin folder. Make sure your config file properly points to the admin folder if it was renamed. From my support ticket, they also suggested turning on error reporting: ...Add the following line to your WHMCS configuration.php file and then try the process again. You should then get an error output to the screen and can report that to us for further assistance. Once you're done testing, make sure you remove the $display_errors line again from that file so that clients aren't getting warnings and errors. $display_errors = true; You can possibly use that information to pinpoint your issue. Good luck!
