Handling customers that do mass mailings

Recommended Posts

Hello - I was wondering what you do for customers, whose jobs require them to do mass mailings.

Not so much as spam, but we have some shipping firms that send thousands of emails a day, to each other, to find ships for their goods, or goods for their ships!

Do you have a policy, what do you do if they violate? What do you if they are good customers?

Thanks, -turgut

So long as they are genuine and within their bandwidth limit, I don't take any action

However I do advise the customer that the email is part of their monthly bandwidth allowance and they should monitor this weekly

If they exceed the allowance their website, and ultimately email, could become suspended without notice
