How limit user account access to one IP and Auto IP Ban after 3 failed login attem

Hello,

 

For admin login, I did limit login to one IP by using htaccess rule but I would like to make available such same feature for some of my customers because some of them request it.

 

It would be nice to have such function to enable/disable by customer. Certainly this require to add the customer IP into the customer tab in database and make a custom script at the user login page....any idea on that ?

Well, I also put an .htaccess file up front -- it asks for another username and password for the /admin link..
