Manually added domain: How to generate a renewal invoice asap?

I have been forever migrating domains from "manual labor" to WHMCS.

 

Today another one phoned and said xyz.com had expired -- it was maintained manually by my on OpenSRS, and I have neglected to notify the customer. Anyway, I entered him as a new customer, and added his domain using "add a new order". (I did not pick Send Invoice as this is not a new domain). The date I entered for the domain has already expired and the customer wants to renew the domain ASAP. How can I force WHMCS to generate a "renewal" invoice?

On the clients summary page, tick the box next to the domain you want to invoice.

 

Then click the "Invoice Selected Items" button at the bottom of the page.
