DataHosts
I would think that you have reached your quota with MaxMind. I have not seen this error within WHMCS, so, I am thinking it is a MaxMind side.
SpookedOut
I thought that myself, how can i fix this though?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted May 5, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted May 5, 2007 I would think you just need to buy more credit at MaxMind so you can process more requests. Matt
ByteRack
I just signed up for MaxMind and I'm getting the same errors Fraud Check Results: MaxMind Configuration Error | MAX_REQUESTS_REACHED All other field are blank. I have 1,248 Queries Remaining with MaxMind I checked activity log and it reads: 06/01/2007 14:53 Order ID 15 Passed Fraud Check System 06/01/2007 14:53 Order ID 15 Fraud Check Initiated System
trine
What type of Maxmind subscription do you have?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted June 2, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted June 2, 2007 That's what's being returned by MaxMind when your login details are submitted so you'll need to contact them regarding the issue with credit. Matt
ByteRack
I purchased the $5.00/month MaxMind Standard minFraud Service, 1,250 queries per month I sent an email into MaxMind support, I'll let you know what they come up with. Thanks, -Steve
SpookedOut
I will be probably buying extra credits, seems it can only handle like 5 orders..
ByteRack
There something definitely wrong here. I got in contact with MaxMind Hi Steve, According to our records, the order was processed and your account has 1248 Standard minFraud queries in it. To see the sample query string you should be using with your license key and specific IP address, please see the bottom of this page: w w w.maxmind.com/app/ccv If you have any other issues, please contact me. Thank You, Crystal Dawn Client Services Representative cdawn@maxmind.com This was at the bottom of the page A sample query is listed below: w w w .maxmind.com/app/ccv2r?i=24.24.24.24&domain=yahoo.com&city=New+York& region=NY&postal=10011&country=US&bin=549099&license_key=YOUR KEY HERE This was of no help. Where do I put these queries in manually? Shouldn't WHMCS do this for me automatically through the module? Also, Fraud Check Results have mysteriously disappeared, nothing shows up in the bottom of the orders. I have followed the directions to a tee, and it's simply not working. Activity log shows 06/04/2007 20:23 Order ID 22 Passed Fraud Check 06/04/2007 20:23 Order ID 22 Fraud Check Initiated
ur
I would take that up with Maxmind. In WHMCS you need to enter the Key only, and set the fraud rates, then it does the rest all for you. No need to pass it manually, that is only an example they gave you.
ByteRack
Thats what I figured, just enter license key, and it should work. I just did a few test orders, and I don't think MaxMind module is working, nothing at all shows up in the pending order. I don't even get the fields or the error I was getting earlier.
ByteRack
Please Note: after enabling the MaxMind Fraud Protection module you must CHMOD the modules/fraud/maxmind/maxmind.ws.cache file to 777 (writeable). I don't have this file on my server (maxmind.ws.cache) could this be the issue?
trine
that is from http://v3manual.whmcs.com/display.php?id=28 odd, we do not have that either, even though it works properly.
othellotech
I saw that in the manual, so cretaed and chmod'd the file but it seems to have made no difference to our MaxMind setup. I keep noticing WHMCS mark orders as fraud but nt actually calling out to MM - ad as yet unable to determine why excatly it thinks they're fraudulent (2 def were, 1 probably isnt) We have an account with Varilogix anyway, so going to try that instead of the MM for a while and see what happens ...
