mh-p
I have two dummy clients on my trial when one logs-in everything appears to be working OK in the Client Area BUT when the other logs-in Domain Checker doesn't work, Shopping Cart has no prices, Register Domain has no drop down list of available extensions Transfer Domain has no drop down list of available extensions and I get exactly the same behaviour from a visitor who has NOT logged-in. If someone from WHMCS would like to contact me direct by email I will provide the necessary credentials so that you can check this out for yourselves. Thank you Mike

mh-p
Hello, Unfortunately we can not provide hands on support for trial users. There may be a few reasons why this is not working for you. We may need to login and test your installation. You can however order a month lease at which time you would be entitled to support during your evaluation period and cancel at any point with a minimal investment to your company if you decide not to continue the service. There is a forum here > http://forum.whmcs.com/ to which you may be able to obtain support from other users that have experienced this issue and a WHMCS Wiki here > http://wiki.whmcs.com/index.php?title=Main_Page Both of which can assist you in the basic setup of WHMCS. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Many Thanks Wayne WHMCS Support I find it somewhat bizarre that I'm expected to buy something that doesn't work!
striddy
I don't recall anyone posting these problems before. Sounds like a cookie, or browser session. What happens if you clear out your browser cookies, close the browser, then try again? The WHMCS software does work..... there are hundreds if not thousands of users.
mh-p
Hello David I've cleared everything from Firefox and I've tried IE8 and Chrome - all to no avail. I would understand the response from WHMCS if I had a silly configuration problem that could easily be resolved by reading the documentation or being pointed in the right direction by a fellow user but, this seems to be a more deep rooted issue. I'm wondering if a reinstall might cure the problem? Regards Mike
striddy
Have a play with the demo here and see if/how it behaves differently to your install. http://www.whmcs.com/demo.php
mh-p
I solved this issue with a re-install using forced binary. Kind regards Mike
