Issue with breadcrumb when using a custom server provisioning module

There appears to be an issue when using a custom server provisioning module, module functions and .tpl files. When im on the tpl file and I have added to the breadcrumb

product details breadcrumb using the 'breadcrumb' => item the product details link uses the current URL instead of the URL for the product. See attached for screenshot of what Im talking about. Below is snip of my code..
