Send Message New Account Info sends Shared IP not Dedicated IP

Alright so i updated a clients account with his new dedicated IP, i then went down to the bottom of the "Product" page and used the drop down menu to send the new account information to his email, but in the email it sent it with the Shared IP and not the dedicated IP that i saved into that product.

Is this a bug in the system or is this how it is supposed to be? You would assume that it would send the email with the dedicated IP because what happens when i want to resend them the new account info email with the dedicated IP instead of the shared one?

You have to create a new Email Template and change the login info to

Control Panel URL: http://{$service_dedicated_ip}:2082/ Once your domain has propagated, you may also use http://www.{$service_domain}:2082/'>http://www.{$service_domain}:2082/

Notice the $service_dedicated_ip

I just cloned the current welcome email template and replaced the login info with the dedicated IP merge field from the available list at the bottom of the email templates

This is my entire Welcome Email (Dedicated IP) template

Why not use a single e-mail template with conditionals to check if a dedicated IP is set or not and output is based on if it is or not? :)

I just love it when forum members provide a better solution and then sit quietly on it and hope we, "Less knowledgeable members" can guess what that solution is.

Thanks James, the solution I use works for me, if you have something better to share with the rest of us and its something we could all benefit from, please do.

Wishing you a great day.
