d33pa
I submitted an email support ticket to domains[at]whmcs.com on Apr 24 and have no response so i am posting here. I recently transferred in a domain name from another registrar to directi. So at this moment it got transferred and a 1 year extension added to the expiry date. I would like to now have it expire in 10 years. On the directi control panel, i can only renew for upto 8 years. So i am assuming i should be able to renew for 9 years now as it already has one year (because of transfer in). Can anyone confirm that this will work for my .com domain? Is there any time period that i should wait before renewing for the additional 8 years now? Is there a way to renew for 10 years? Thanks in advance.
othellotech
A domain can only have an expiry date 10 years into the future, 1 year was added as part of the transfer, so unless its *initial* expiry date has now past you will only be able to renew it for another 8 years (8+1+current = 10) HTH
