deeez
Hi guys, just started using WHMCS, really like it. 1. Is there a way to make bank transfer payment option only available for annual or greater orders? I don't want to allow bank transfer for month orders as it will be too much for client's to keep up with.
m8internet
Not only that, but the bank charges would be quite high too You could therefore either add a comment right at the beginning of the option to read : Please only select this option if you are paying annually This option is not recommended for customers paying monthly Equally, you could edit the checkout page with similar text
deeez
Im not too worried about bank charges. The my bank and the majority of banks here have free external transfers. I was wondering if there was a way to program it. I'm sure there is but was hoping someone could tell me haha.

m8internet
a business bank account has high charges which related to credits and debits As business operators the account should be a business account, so therefore there should be bank charges to be taken into account Banks now have access to lists of personal accounts, which the Inland Revenue suspect of being used for business purposes The banks are known to completely dislike this, usually closing the account plus seeking back charges for such use (as supplied by the Inland Revenue) Naughty, but it is best and easier for tax purposes to keep them separate Ironically, I prefer bank transfer as the overall costs are lower than receiving funds through PayPal, at just 20p Although PayPal don't charge for withdrawing funds to the bank account, the bank charge for incoming funds The expensive one is receiving a cheque, due to the manual handling that is required
easyhosting
Although PayPal don't charge for withdrawing funds to the bank account, Yes they do if a withdrawl is less than £25
m8internet
Yes they do if a withdrawl is less than £25 The limit is £50, and I assumed people would use that limit to withdraw the money so as to avoid the relevant fee
