Tyler Jacobson
Each morning my work day begins by going through emails indicating the Enom renewal errors. Sometimes, when I visit the domain name record in WHMCS and I click Renew, it goes through. Other times though, I get: "Domain Renewal Failed There was an error getting the current expiration date from registry. Please try again at a later time." Does anyone else experience this? Is it an issue with Enom's API? If I go directly to their site, I can renew the domain without a hitch. Just curious if anyone has experienced this and also if anyone knows a way around it.

anthill
Hello, We are still having this problem intermittently... anyone else? I presume there must be more than 3 of us who are experiencing this issue...? Thanks, Daniel.
othellotech
It's a combination of * enom being busy * slow connections between your server and enom * the registry being busy/under maintenance The only solution is to run yoru cron's and jobs at a different time of day, which will significantly limit the times you see the problem
