lightbeing creations
Hi folks, I'm not sure if this a WHMCS or Netearthone problem, or whether it's down to the way .uk domains are registered. Basically, when someone orders a .uk domain through WHMCS and the payment is accepted the automatic setup in WHMCS fails. The email I get about it gives the following: Error: Action Status - Order Waiting for Callback Response At the Netearthone level everything is fine and that system is waiting for a response to the registration from the .UK registry and in WHMCS everything is ready but the domain is set to pending. Once the Netearthone system gets the response from the registry then WHMCS doesn't update. Is this simply down to the delayed response from the .UK registry? Would the 2 systems sync up at the next cron run? Or is there something going on with WHMCS or the Netearthone system?
JofleyUK
The order waiting for callback response btw is normal. UK Domains are queued for registration. Make sure you are running your domain cron aswell. Details of it are in Setup --> Domain Registrars (Pick NE1) It lists the cron job to run at the bottom of the config. Hope this helps.
lightbeing creations
Thanks for that. I knew about the delay at the registry level was just wondering how it interplayed with WHMCS. So will WHMCS update when the cron runs after the the registry have authorised the registration? If so, is it best to run my domain cron more often than the once a day it is currently running?
JofleyUK
you ould be able to get away with every 2 days. I run mine everyday just to be sure but do it during the day rather than evening time.
