CW2305
Hi, Is it possible to add my own company (which is hosting WHMCS) as a client? My reasoning is so that I can add my own domain name into the system, and get renewal reminders like everyone else? Thanks for your time. My365Host
just create a user -> add the domain via admin panel (so that there is no need to create an invoice) -> select module (such as namecheap, enom, etc). -> and that's it!
CW2305
So it's just like adding a domain like you normally would, via Admin. No issues considering the domain is already functioning as the 'mother' domain. Thanks for your answer.
m8internet
Make sure you override the price to 0.00 on your services / products and Domains, otherwise the sales appear and affect the totals Setup payment method as "mail in payment" When you have renewed the Domain Name, simply click on Accept Payment under Overdue Invoices

m8internet
I added business before any other client, on my commercial email address I then added myself, on my personal email address I then added all the packages, services, and Domain Names to my business account This allowed me to test and check the renewals, notices, cronjobs On completion I deleted all the test invoices, then reset the invoice back to 1 Finally, I put the prices on my items to 0.00 I now receive email invoices for 0.00, which is ideal for remembering when they expire I couldn't find any way of testing the PayPal scripts, so had to wait until customers actually paid for orders

m8internet
paypal test mode is a great invention for that I've tried numerous times to use the sandbox, but it continually returned errors that didn't make sense
eacollin
Make sure you override the price to 0.00 on your services / products and Domains, otherwise the sales appear and affect the totals Setup payment method as "mail in payment" When you have renewed the Domain Name, simply click on Accept Payment under Overdue Invoices So what would you do in this example: You have your own domain http://www.example.com added and previously got invoices for the renewal amount let say $8.00 for a .com ( yes this was showing up in the income reports) renewal now you want the invoices to come as $0.00 so this doesn't showup in the Income reports/statements what would you do to fix this issue now? scurrell
Surely you'd have your own domains on auto-renew at the registrar anyway? Saves generating zero-value invoices, which accountants don't like very much.
