WHMCS V4.4.2 Incremental Released + iWHMCS V1.3.2

WHMCS V4.4.2


I am pleased to announce the release of WHMCS V4.4.2.


This is primarily a maintenance release to resolve any bugs reported and fixed in the initial stable release of V4.4.


As this is a file patch update only, no database upgrade process or template changes are needed, and so upgrading from the immediate preceeding version 4.4.1 is simple. All you have to do is upload the new files. For those already running V4.4.1, there is an incremental download version available from the client area with less files to upload.


And for those running V4.4.0 or earlier, a full stable version to be used for new installs of V4.4 and upgrading older versions is also available from our client area in the usual place: My Licenses & Services > View Details > Downloads



iWHMCS Update


We are also pleased to announce that an update for the iPhone App iWHMCS has been released.


This update is available to download from the Apple App Store now and addresses a number of usability issues that had been reported aswell as adding the ability to perform Domain Availability Checks/WHOIS lookups and viewing of Overdue Invoices. The API updates for this are included in V4.4.2.


And work is well underway on Version 1.4 with some much requested features, along with equivalent updates to the aWHMCS Android App.

  • Various Admin Language Fixes - Added Missing or Improved Translations
  • Added French Admin Area Translation
  • Updated ResellerClub, NetEarthOne & StarGate Registrar Modules to use new API URL ready for announced change next month on 10th February
  • Added support to PayPal Addon Module to display all currencies balances and fixed transaction lookup shortcut on homepage
  • Updated domain transfer invoices to not include date range like new registrations since expiry date will always be different to date range shown
  • Added display of product custom fields & values to order confirmation/admin notification email aswell as new admin order notification merge field for displaying clients profile custom fields in notification ({$client_customfields})
  • Added functionality to preserve custom field values to fields of the same name when changing product both manually from the admin area or with automated product upgrades/downgrades
  • Updated MaxMind Module to produce a more consistent fraud risk results display with improved field widths/formatting for Explanation
  • Updated the Affiliate Bonus Deposit Amount to be converted from default into the clients local currency before applying to new affiliates
  • Improved client merge process to also merge credit balances
  • Modules: Added Automated Upgrade/Downgrade Support to Plesk 10 Module, Added Automated Password Changes to Plesk Reseller Module, Fixed PaymentExpress & Liberty Reserve Callback issues + Various Other Minor Tweaks & Adjustments
  • API Updates: GetInvoices - added the ability to return Overdue invoices (iPhone App), AddBillableItem - added support for passing an hours/qty value
  • Added support for description tags on dropdown menu field types in addon modules
  • Added date picker to quote create/edit date fields
  • Moved hardcoded flagged ticket styling in admin support ticket list to stylesheet style
  • Updated custom field HTML output to be XHTML compliant
  • Updated integration code in admin area to be XHTML compliant
  • Updated Client Area Language Files for French & Swedish translations
  • Improved handling of invalid actions passed to KB & Downloads pages to avoid blank page
  • Removed requirement for bcmod PHP module in clients profile pages
  • Resolved potential issue that could cause the income forecast report to loop indefinately when generating
  • Updated checkout fraud check to run before custom hooks and redirects so that failures in those can't prevent it running
  • Fixed bug in client summary page not showing pending transfer status translation
  • Fixed cPanel Module returning unknown error message in some environments
  • Fixed admin support ticket flag notification email not displaying department name and priority values
  • Fixed domain renewal price not showing in shopping cart renewal area
  • Fixed promotion code selection not being applied when chosen in admin order process
