Data 1
Hi, been hanging out for a while, so far WHMCS is winning I have about 140 client domain names with Godaddy, and it looks like if I do WHMCS they will have to be somewhere else. Does anyone have experience with this, transfering multiple domains from Godaddy to Enom (which seems to be the thing to do from me reading here)? So I'm gathering.... Cpanel servers, WHMCS, Enom is the hottest setup? I already have 7 cpanel servers.
0 keithm
I wouldn't say that Enom is the hottest one to use. If you take a look at the existing registrar list, then visit their websites, you can make your own decision based on price/your own needs. Personally I prefer DirectI Keith
0 Data 1
Thank you Keith, I'll look closer but ll the prices I saw were within a few dollars of each other? I'm looking for seamless integration with the WHMCS system and the ability for the customer to change nameserver settings through the WHMC interface.
0 keithm
Both would work fine under WHMCS and do the job. 0 othellotech
I have about 140 client domain names with Godaddy, and it looks like if I do WHMCS they will have to be somewhere else You only need to transfer them in order to improve the automation - if you're happy with GD set the registrar to email and do it manually Does anyone have experience with this, transfering multiple domains from Godaddy to Enom (which seems to be the thing to do from me reading here)? As part of a recent acquistion we moved ~120 domains away from GD and their various brands - was relatively painless (unlike from some registrars) 1. unlock the domain , wait 5 minues 2. check the contacts but *DONT* change the name or email address or it locks the domain for 30 days 3. request EPP code 4. do transfer Cpanel servers, WHMCS, Enom is the hottest setup? I already have 7 cpanel servers. Tht will be very feature rich - personally I favour a combination of registrars as some are better with certain TLDs than others: we use othelloreg (obviously) enom rrpproxy opensrs nominet centralnic ad a few others, and have it all automated - frees the staff up to deal with the actual customer service, not the admin and updates
