Payment gateway fee

Not built in that I am aware of.

The problem is...at lest in the good ole USA, its illegal to charge someone for using a credit/debt card, meaning the gateway processing fee. But, I do know that some US companies that accept credit cards will charge you a $3.00 fee on top of the cost.

At my local Cable company, they have a sign right next to the cashier that says in big bold RED letters that if you pay your cable bill with a credit/debit card, they will tack on a $3.00 processing fee. That's illegal as hell here in the states according to the powers to be, but they do it and get away with it probably because they process so many transactions the merchant/gateway just ignores it until someone complains.

There has been other threads about this very same subject. There are some countries that allow you to add on a processing fee, not sure who they are.

I also know that there are some eCom scripts out there that have a built in area that allows you to add additional fees/charges to the final cost of an item you are selling. Like shipping/handling fees, restocking fees, credit card processing fess...etc

Right now the only way in know of with WHMCS to add a processing fee is to build it into the prices of the item. Others have used some sort of discount procedure, but I've never figured that one out.
