Paypal subscription vs. One time paymen t

I have a client who refers a lot of people to me. She signs them up and pays the first month via Paypal. She told me it won't let her pay in any method other than subscription. So I then have to cancel the subscription so she doesn't get billed for subsequent months.

 

So I tested it and when it goes to the payment screen, it says "Please wait while we redirect you to the gateway". Below that are two buttons, one for Paypal subscription, one for Paypal one time payment. However, it automatically redirects as if you hit the subscription button.

 

How can I let the user choose?

Setup ---> General Settings ---> Ordering ---> Auto Redirect on Checkout

I saw that, but when I checked it, it adds another click (hard to find) for all payment methods, which seems excessive.
