pmatra
Hi guys, I am in the process of finallizing my install of WHMCS and was wondering if anyone knows anything about email throttling. Is WHMCS capable of it? Pete
sparky
When using Mass Mail it sends 25 emails every 30 seconds Thats about the extent of it. All other emails are sent as generated eg... orders, inv, etc.
pmatra
For someone with a reseller account where the server allows you to send 4-500 emails an hour that's not good. At WHMCS's current configuration makes 3000 emails an hour. Can that be adjusted in configuration files? I have a VPS and set up 400 per hour but have not been able to disable the throttling for my primary account where WHMCS is located.
sparky
If you use cPanel install this addon http://www.configserver.com/cp/cmm.html and you can set the limit to what you want for individual accounts. root access is required to install it but with a VPS you should be right.
pmatra
Worked like a charm and took me a minute to install. Thanks! And I have minimal SSH knowledge. Pete
