cwalke32477
From a security standpoint, I would like to setup random usernames. By default WHM/cPanel, and WHMCS, both use the first 8 characters of a domain name as the username. I feel this could be a potential security risk, as any hacker familiar with cpanel, will know they only need to know the first 8 char's of user's domain for the username. They can then work on the password -of course they need to get around cPhulk and CSF, but that's another issue. Long story short, is it possible to set WHMCS to create random usernames, not based on the TLD?
springs
We would be interested in the same option. (We do know that we can adjust this during the order process before it's created, but it would be nice to automate this)
