cjraven1222
Hi all, I see several ways of doing this, but I wonder if anyone can advise me as to the best way. A special "grand opening" promotion: Normal package would be (let's say) 250MB Disk Space + 25GB/mo traffic For the grand opening: double disc space, double data traffic. To ensure that it conforms to a date range, I'd like to make it a coupon code. (Plus coupon codes have previously always been popular in this region - for some unknown reason) Would it be better to create: i) a special product? (then delete it later) ii) via configurable options? - but seems clumsy somehow iii) via addons which are discounted to zero for [x] period of time? Opinions from those familiar with WHMCS would be greatly appreciated. Regards & TIA
othellotech
A specific package/product, which you can then "hide" and set stock to 0 so it's cant be ordered afterwards IME is the best way to do this
cjraven1222
Rob, Great suggestion! You're right - that would indeed solve the problem. Just thinking/wondering out loud...wonder what I could do with the coupon code issue (these folks love coupon codes). Maybe do a promotion, but without a discount? Dunno...more of a rhetorical question than anything else, I suppose. One thing seems certain, I can play with this without breaking anything. Many thanks!
