WHMCS Manage Multiple Servers

URPad

Recommended Posts

Let me start off with what my setup is like.

I have my website hosted offsite for uptime reasons. That website is also hosted on the server server that I have my reseller account with. I have that reseller account setup to show the server status in the server setup and it works.

I also have a VPS that has cPanel/WHM installed on it. Under WHMCS Server Setup, I have the host name setup as hostname.domain.tld. Under Server Status Address, I have it as http://hostname.domain.tld/status/. Now when I go to my home page for the admin area and click on Check Network Status, I returns with the reseller server showing the load and uptime. With the VPS it shows nothing. Also, on the VPS, I have root access and uploaded the Status dir to the root public_html folder. But still nothing.

Any pointers on what I did or did not do?

Visit this link. It shows Pad 2 correctly but not Pad 1. My question is where do put the status folder at on the VPS?

cant yet you have it down for maintenance

On the VPS if you have the hostname <hostname.domain.tld>

place the domain <domain.tld> on the server and placed the status folder on this domain and not on the VPS root, this is how i have mine set up.

I'm lost at what you are saying. My domain name is urpad.net. On the VPS I have the hostname set as pad1.urpad.net. That is done thru my VPS CP and in WHM. If I am reading what you are saying is that I need to change WHM to urpad.net. But would that read my Pad 2 status tho.

The status files need to go into /usr/local/apache/htdocs if you're using a cPanel server, not in /root/public_html.

Im assuming your setup as a reseller on your vps, this makes it easier to deal with if so.

/home/user/public_html/

locate it there or indeed any place inside the webroot. just specify your own location in whmcs
