Installing WHMCS Twitter Mod in 15 Easy Steps:

 

 

 

• 1) Upload all files to your WHMCS root.
  
• 2) Visit the addon module in WHMCS Admin area > Utilities > Addon Modules > WHMCS Twitter
  
• 3) Enter your license key and click install
  
• 4) Your WHMCS Twitter has now been sucessfully installed
  
• 5) Visit http://dev.twitter.com/apps/new
  
• 6) Name the application whatever you want (it shows up next to your posts on twitter.com)
  
• 7) Enter anything for description, application website, and organization..
  
• 8 ) Application Type: Browser
  
• 9) Call Back URL: https://YOURWHMCSURL/admin/addonmodules.php?module=WHMCS_Twitter&_a=callback
  
• 10) Default Access type: Read and write
  
• 11) Click Save
  
• 12) Copy the Consumer Key and Secret Key,
  
• 13) Visit the addon module in WHMCS Admin area > Utilities > Addon Modules > WHMCS Twitter
  
• 14) On the Configuration tab enter your Consumer Key and Secret Key, Click save, And click Login to your twitter account

In view of you releasing this addon I would just like to clarify that we have not yet started work on this module yet due to our workload as referred to in our post here http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=31585

 

Because of this we have no intentions of creating this - All the best with the Module Liam!

You don't type your twitter username or password into this module you use the secure api,

The module uses oAuth, I really do not see twitter changing their API away from this method in the near future, as it would break every single twitter web application out there.
