need clarification on extent of automation

Bought WHMCS and integrated it with my Directadmin server. I think it's all working however I have 1 dumb question.


When i do a testorder, the account is created on WHMCS just fine. It sends the welcome email out with client area login info. Then the order goes to pending in WHMCS. It sits in pending even thought the order was paid.


This is counter to what I thought the software was suppose to do.


I thought the order would be chcked for fraud, if not fraud and payment was successful, WHMCS would activate the account, create the DirectAdmin account, and send out the login details?


No? New order even if successful stay in pending until someone approves?

It should send out the login details automatically after payment, do you have it set up correctly?


E.g. "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received" should be selected in the product configuration.


And if you're using PayPal you need to set the IPN settings in your PayPal account as per: http://wiki.whmcs.com/PayPal
