easycms Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 Hi, I am looking to find the current roleid of the admin user in a template, is this possible? Some dropdown options in the admin interface i only want to be available to certain roles, the only way i can see that this is possible is adding the current roleid into the javascript in the header.tpl for the template assigned to that role and then in the adminmenu.js only display according to the roleid. I have looked at the {debug} information and there doesn't seem to be anything in there that gives the current roleid. If anyone can think of a better way to do this also, please let me know!
