xpo123
Hi, I use netearthone for my domain names, and have automatic registrations setup. This has been working fine up to now, with domains only registering if they have been paid for. However, a client recently added an order for a domain name priced at $14.99, I added a credit of $9.99 to the account and I noticed that the domain name has been registered automatically despite the client being $5 short. The domain name registered when another client registered a domain name - so that seems to have triggered this domain name being registered. I noticed this on the invoice confirmation E-mail: "Sub Total: $14.99 USD Credit: $9.99 USD Total: $5.00 USD Amount: $0.00 USD Transaction #: Total Paid: $0.00 USD Remaining Balance: $5.00 USD Status: Paid" While it says remaining balance $5.00 it does not say that on the clients account overview page. Can anybody shed any light on this so I can avoid it happening again?
xpo123
OK so the client just paid the extra $5 which they owed, and the system automatically renewed the domain name for an additional year... Can anybody shed some light on what has happened here as I am out of pocket again!
