ovni
Woke up this morning and had emails from WHM cpanel that ALL my client accounts were terminated!! Went into WHMCS and it in fact terminated all th3e accounts. Customers sent help tickets saying they received emails saying account w2as overdue and terminated! Can anyone shed some light on why this happened? I hope I can recover from backup or im out of business. Any insight much appreciated!!
vchosting
I would raise a support ticket direct with WHMCS. What I can say is that WHMCS does not just Terminate accounts. It will be down to how it was set up and the cron job being activated without testing that everything is set up properly. Best speak to WHMCS and see if they can take a look at your setup. You obviously have something set up incorrectly.
merlinpa1969
we had that happen when we imported all of our accounts from a seperate billing system had to do with the way due dates were set making all accounts considered overdue
ovni
crazy thing is its been running perfectly for over a year now. Then all of a sudden, everything is gone! I have a ticket in waiting for them to wake in the UK in 9 hours. Meanwhile, customers are freaking out and have already lost one client to cancellation. Cron was working perfectly so beware! Back up a lot!
vchosting
Very strange. I think we would all be grateful if you would post the outcome in here so that we know what caused this to happen once you have found the cause of course.

HerrZ
go for Backend->Setup->Automation Settings->Automatic Module Functions and uncheck "Enable Termination". this should be the very basic option. good luck
