markb1439
Is there a way to have the user enter a username and password for the WordPress installation? I don't think it would be good security to use the same username and password set up for their hosting account in general. Thanks, Mark
markb1439
bdigitalstudios, How much would you charge to share an example script (with the sensitive bits stripped out, of course)? Thanks, Mark
rudberg
About Wildfire Dynamic Script Installer : We're, too, very satisfied with both the support and the product itself. It's one thing to just be running one script to set a few things up, but another to be able to go into database, search and replace, set up cron jobs, set stuff according to conditional statements etc. like Wildfire can do, we went through a couple of different options when deciding, and there really wasn't that much of a competition after a few things on our requirement list knocked the other ones off. Just wanted to voice that as I'd agree with tsiedsma on the usability, but I do think it depends on what you want to accomplish.
brettbruce
I have been considered making this reply for over 6 months. Not because I was unsure of how well this script works, but whether or not I wanted others to know about it. The truth is that this script unleashes the true power of WHMCS and is worth every penny. I have worked closely with their support to create several customizations and they have always been quick to reply and EXTREMELY helpful. I saw the unhappy post prior and almost did not make the purchase and I want to reassure you all that the cost for the script and install will be money well spent. I am sorry that the other poster had a tough time because I feel that they are truly missing out by not moving forward with the script. I do not want to go into too much detail of our business, but with a little creativity and thought, you can easily see the possibilities that a script like this provides. All I can say is Thank You to the creator of Wildfire DSI and I look forward to the scripts you have coming in the future.
markb1439
You can also install WordPress (or many other CMSs) automatically upon account creating using the new automation API from Installatron. For those not familiar with Installatron, it's similar to Fantastico or Softaculous, but much better in my opinion. Automating WordPress installation after account creation is very easy. Here's a quick overview: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=38565 Not bad for a product you can license for $2.50 per month per server. We love Installatron.

We'd like to make blogger portal, where you can create your blog as a subdomain on our domain, like wordpress.com it does. So the user enters just the wished subdomain name and password. Click - its finished and the user may access its admin panel. Anything?
