Literal Tags Help

Hi I am trying to setup an Easy Slider jquery site effect/plugin. The script requires the following code. However, in it's present form, it is causing the site page to display blank. If anyone could help me with the placement of the {literal}{/literal} tags, I would greatly appreciate it.

 

The code is as follows:
