Email Piping issue

It's seems that there has been lots of discussion about this. I'm still having problems though so I'm hoping someone can help.

So I've setup email piping for the address support@mydomain.com going to |/usr/bin/php -q /home/username/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php

Currently I receive this error when sending from a test account:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its

recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

pipe to |/usr/bin/php -q /home/username/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php

generated by support@mydomain.com local delivery failed

I've tried various options with the pipe command. Changed Themes within cpanel from x3 to x to create the email forward but still no joy. Ticket is still created though within the support department. The Ticket Mail Import log doesn't show any activity.

However. If i set the support department to not auto respond, email is imported fine without problem. And the Ticket mail import log show mail successfully imported.

I want the auto responder to work correctly.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I am having this same issue.

I setup piping for support@mydomain.com last night and added the cron to run every five minutes like WHMCS suggests in the Support Departments secton of the admin area.

I than went and sent a support message from an offsite e-mail address to support@mydomain.com

The ticket came into whmcs fine (which means it went to support@ fine as well)

I replied to the ticket and closed the ticket upon reply.

I am now getting this message every single time cron runs could someone please please help me with this. I don't dare add any other departments until I fix this one!

You can respond to this ticket by simply replying to this email or by logging into the administration area.

http://www.mydomain.net/clientarea/admin/

I've tried to cover up my domain name hopefully I did.

If this is a problem on the server side could you just mention it.

Let me also note, when I go to http://www.mydomain.net/clientarea/pipe/pop.php it shows the e-mail count to 2, so that is working fine...... I think
