Adding Credits

Recommended Posts

I have a client who sent $$ for work to be done - a deposit ...

SO I'm trying to add a credit ... when I go to the invoice and click on add credit - it won't let me insert an amount.

Searching the documentation it says to click on the "manage credit " link. I don't see a manage credit link anywhere.

The documentation also said to manually add a payment - so I when to the transaction list and added $$ under that clients name - and it took the $$ - but it still doesn't show up as credit on her account.

What am I doing wrong/missing ?

Thanks

if you are using the latest version 4.2.1, then click on a client and you will be presented with a screen with 3 columns, in the middle column you should have the heading invoices/billing, look dound this columne you will see

* Create Invoice

* Generate Due Invoices

* Add Billable Item

* Manage Credits

* Create Quote
