Email piping not working on same domain

Hi, we installed WHMCS on the week-end and whilst piping is working for anyone emailing in from a different domain to the one its installed with, sending emails from the same one is not working as the emails do not come through.

 

e.g. our domain that whmcs was installed with is acceler8.net.au - if I email from my acceler8.net.au address to another acceler8.net.au address that is set up in whmcs it does not arrive. Is there another setting I need to make to be able to receive 'internal' emails?
