Best Accounting System to work with WHMCS

Recommended Posts

Granted that WHMCS is not an accounting system, what do you guys think is the best accounting system to work with WHMCS? An accounting system that provides an easy and safe way to import customers, invoices and payments from WHMCS without need for manual entry. This way should also be easy enough so that future upgrades of WHMCS will not "break" the import tool.

We can assume that the accounting system will be a new setup for a new company.

I know this question has been asked many times on the forum, and I also believe that it affects most of us here, unless you're in a business that does not need to report your income to the govenrment authorities or the transactions are too few to require automation. ;)

We use kashflow.co.uk.

Thanks. Yes, I read about it on the forum, the reviews for the addon aren't good.

I prefer to host my own accounting data, and something accountants are familiar with, but nonetheless I went on to create a test account and then installed the addon.

Got some errors. Currencies weren't updated correctly and payment status is wrong. :)

KashFlow: Error Inserting Invoice 20100: Server was unable to read request. ---> There is an error in XML document (12, 32). ---> Input string was not in a correct format.
