[NOT A BUG] Late fees not applied to manually generated invoices

I'm seeing that late fees are not being added by the system to any manually created invoices, that are set to be due the same day they are created. I've tried waiting a couple days extra to allow for the system to "catch up", and still no late fees.

 

I have late fees set under automation settings, and the problem is only seen when the invoice is created and sent to the client manually.

 

I realize this may not be a bug but intended behavior. If I know it's intended because the invoice is a manual one, then I'll know to manually add the late fees. Luckily this isn't an issue too often.

The late fee will not add to invoices where the due date = invoice date. Providing you set the due date to be at least a day after the date of invoicing, then the late fee will be applied even to a custom invoice.
