itdeptcorp
hi, we have been looking for the best options for server monitoring for our internal needs, but also something which eventually could be presented to the end customer (via client portal) Looked at Zenoss which seems nice as its not Nagios level of (configuration) If anyone else is using Zenoss? and knows pros/cons - That would be great
NorCal Internet
hi, we have been looking for the best options for server monitoring for our internal needs, but also something which eventually could be presented to the end customer (via client portal) Looked at Zenoss which seems nice as its not Nagios level of (configuration) If anyone else is using Zenoss? and knows pros/cons - That would be great I used Nagios for years, but switched to Zenoss a bout a year ago. It's basically the same as Nagios, but a bit easier to config. Really, Zenoss adds a web GUI to Nagios, allowing you set up hostgroups, servers, etc via a browser versus using a command line. I don't really care either way, both work fine...But, the GUI does make it a little easier.
